I've been on Jason's show many times before, but I think this is our best segment yet. We were joined by Lou Esbin and Matt Denny (also regular guests), and we tapped into one of the major themes in my book: many people don't know that in the final year of his life, MLK shifted the focus of his movement from racial equality to economic equality. He had campaigned against racial injustice for a decade, but less than a month before he was scheduled to lead a Poor People's March on Washington, D.C., he was assassinated.
What I love about this interview is the evolution of the discussion: it begins with race, then transcends to the level I believe we should all be laser-focused on now. Let me know what you think in the comments. Cheers!
